CLJJ HS Art Show
The high school will be presenting the very best student art from the 2011-2012 school year. Refreshments will be served. There will also be a performance art piece from that transfer student.

This month’s book club has been cancelled due to a highly inappropriate book being chosen as March’s pick. “50 Shades of Grey” is vulgar, improper and all copies should be burned.

Happy Good Friday! All business will be closed. Except for church.

Passover Seder
Dr. Zoe Hart will be hosting something called a Seder at the Rammer Jammer in honor of her holiday of Passover. She says bring any kind of food except for things that contain yeast. Huh?

Rammer Jammer 30th Anniversary Party

Not to outdo the Pi Day Party, CLJJ English teacher Ms. Benefiel will be holding an informal reading of “Julius Caesar” in the high school auditorium. Et tu, Brute?

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
The Rammer Jammer is hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day party. Soda bread, corned beef and hash, and Guinness will be served. Be sure to wear green!

Nurf Baseball Sign Ups
All the fun but none of the danger. Come sign your 4-6 year old up for Saturday nurf baseball games.

Patriots or Giants? Neither team’s ideal, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still celebrate. Come to the Rammer Jammer for the yearly Super Bowl party. Make sure to bring cash if you want to participate in the squares pool!

In honor of Valentine’s Day, there will be a screening of “Brokeback Mountain,” one of the greatest love stories to ever grace the big screen. A heartfelt discussion moderated by Dash DeWitt will follow. One box of tissues won’t be enough!

We will be discussing December’s book club pick, James Patterson’s “Kill Alex Cross”, at Pageturners. Morgan Freeman will sadly not be in attendance.

Christmas Tree Removal
If you still have your Christmas tree up in your house, you should know that’s very gauche and it’s definitely time to get rid of it. Please discard old Christmas trees to the curb in front of your house. Volunteers will be coming around to collect them.

Red Cross Blood Drive
The holidays might be over but that doesn’t mean you can’t still a gift! The Red Cross will be hosting a blood donation drive at the high school gymnasium. Make a difference!

There will be a screening of Steve McQueen’s “Hunger” at the library. A discussion moderated by Dash DeWitt will follow. No food will be served in theme with the film.
